DG16: Slice and Virtual Slice tools (Creator {Slice} and higher levels {Slice, Curved, Rectangle, Freeform})

Adding slice lines to artwork to separate areas into defined segments is a simple process.

It is possible to add your own slice lines to a Satin Path segment with the Slice tool.  When you use the Slice tool, a new outline is created where you place the slice and pieces are separate and can be moved and addressed independently.

Virtual Slice lines can also be added to Satin Path segments using the Virtual Slice tool.  These virtual lines allow you to create a change of the sewing direction in satin path segments without actually dividing the segment into multiple outlines.  The satin path segment remains as 1 piece.
